I Care For....

The people I care for are my family & friends. They are always there to help me when i need it. I also care for the people in the video because they have to risk their lives & work in mines to provide for their families. They get hurt & poisoned in the mines.
I care for my mamii, my aunt, my uncle, my grandma, my grandpa, my sisters, my brother, my cousins, && all my friends.
Sometimes we fight but thats life i guess I'll always know they have my back. && I'll always have theirs. I also care for the animals in the world that don't have homes. Sometimes when me and my family go out to pennsylvania or something, i sometimes look out the window of the car && see homeless dogs. I always say awwh && tell my mamii that if we could help it. Sadly she says no because #1. There is no room in the car, #2. There are no animal hospitals nearby, #3. They probably have rabies or some sort of disease && finally #4. We don't have enough money to care for it. For it to get shots && all that. Well we do but my mamii doesn't want another dog maybe next year but not now && my aunt has cats so she can't keep them. We wouldn't want it to go to a pound or something because if it doesn't get adopted they kill it. Well thats all im gonna write soo byeez! (;

Well-written post SCorrea. I had no idea you were so passionate about animals. Ever think about being a veterinarian when you grow up?

Good job! One of the things we can do to help homeless animals is to make sure that we spay and neuter our own pets - that way our cats and dogs don't accidentally give birth to more pets that won't have a home or anyone to take care of them. 40,000 dogs and cats are put to sleep in shelters in New York City alone, every year! That's a lot of animals who die because there aren't enough homes for them. Another thing we can do to help these animals is to get our pets from shelters instead of stores - that way an animal who might not survive can be given a home!
Are there any actions we can take to help not just homeless animals but other people, like the child laborers we learned about?
